The castle of Filattiera The castle of Filattiera was erected by the Malaspina family in the 14th century. Articulated on two sides of the main public square and encircled from a wide garden, the castle is an imposing building, recently subordinate to a radical restoration. Inside, the castle is very evocative, conserving the classic pattern of three halls of great dimensions, used like hall of representation of the family. The castle is private property.
