  NATURE, GASTRONOMY AND TRADITIONS

Nature and good air are some of the main characteristics of the Lunigiana. Situated between the Magra river, where bathing is permitted, the Apuan Alps and green hills, it offers fun and relax. Many are the opportunities to trekking in the numerous paths, mountain biking, riding or simply take it easy in the summer mild climate or in front of a fireplace in cold winter days.
Then you need to taste one of its numerous gastronomic specialities. The “torta d’erbi”, the “testaroli”, the “panigacci”. All with good wine of the zone.
In the summer season in particular, every day is valid to visit different places and their festivals. Traditions are much alive in Lunigiana today, and perhaps for this it is searched from the tourists.
Lunigiana is earth of traditions and surprise, of calm and freedom, of festivals and tastes.
