THE ORATORY OF SAN BERNARDINO

Lerici
Lerici

Next door to the church of San Francesco is the oratory of San Bernardino, which dates back to 1498 and is no longer open to the public. Built by the Confraternity of the Bianchi Disciplinati di Maria, it adopted its current appearance in 1695.
The main entrance is adorned with ashlars and leads to a rectangular interior that houses a square chapel. The three altars are adorned with Fiasella’s Mother with Child and Gar’s 16th century marble triptych representing the "Vergine fra I santi Sebastiano e Rocco".
