POZZUOLO
The Gulf of Poets
Like many other Lerici towns, the town of Pozzuolo is surrounded by verdant hills. The town is built up around the 16th century chapel of San Giovanni Battista, which now belongs to the parish of San Pietro Apostolo. In past times, it was famous for the production of olive oil and Mongiardino wine.
