THE ORATORY OF SANTA MARIA IN SELÀA OF TELLARO
The oratory of Santa Maria in Selaa

The place name "Selaa" comes from "Sull’Ara". The oratory is built on a terrace, surrounded by the city’s winding alleyways. Originally a stronghold, in 1660, it became the headquarters for the Baptists of Santa Maria. It is currently waiting to undergo restoration works, after which it will be opened as a museum.
