THE CASTLE OF REGNANO
Lunigiana view

Very few are the documents related to the ancient castle of Regnano. It appears in 1066 in an donation act of the Longobard Guiterno di Regnano to the bishop of Luni. In 1185 Frederick I gave it to the bishop of Luni Pietro and in 1202 passed to the Malaspina family.
Today only remains some ruins outside the village.
