GIGLIANA
Gigliana
Gigliana is located next to Filattiera, on the road to Lusignana. In the bell tower of the church of San Michele, a fragment of stele statue was walled in 1749. Gigliana made part of Filattiera since 1865, leaving Bagnone. In the Middle Ages, it was part of the fief of the Malaspina of Filattiera. In the Longobard period, through Gigliana passed the ancient Lombardic road.
