CODIPONTE
The village of Codiponte

Codiponte is situated at the confluence of the Lucido and Aulella streams. The suburb is full of beautiful restructured fifteenth-century portals and it is dominated by the ruins of the castle. Right outside the old suburb, it is possible to visit the VIII century Romanesque parish devoted to Cornelio and Cipriano. It is adorned with capitals with allegorical motives that divide the church in three aisles.
In the outskirts we find the XII century rests of the convent of the Clarisse as well.
